About El Peto and its gluten free baking

El Peto Products Ltd. is a 100% dedicated gluten free, peanut free and oat free swiss style/decent bakery. EL PETO puts the emphasis on nutrtional, natural products. In business since 1988, EL PETO is one of the pioneers on the Canadian Market.

EL PETO prides itself not just to produce a gluten free product, but to produce a nutritious gluten free product with natural ingredients wherever possible. A whole grain brown rice flours instead of white rice flour, organic cane sugar or honey instead of white sugar, dark full chocolate instead of the lighter chocolate version gets preference. Where we can make a difference with extra nutrition we will.

EL PETO also understands the need for the different diets. We provide products with different formulations according to dietary needs and still being gluten free. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality gluten + wheat free products on the market.

EL PETO is federally inspected establishment working towards HACCP accreditation. We have an inhouse lab for gluten free testing. We currently measure 5 ppm or less. We reserve the right to return all incoming material to our supplier should a test be higher than that.

We realize that some people are alike but never the same.

We offer a wide range of products for people with different food sensitivities (milk, corn, soja, etc.), Celiac disease, Autism, MS, Fibromyalgia. Special formulation in our baked products will satisfy our customers with their dietary needs.
