FibromyalgiaPosted on Monday, February 26, 2007 You mention fibromyalgia in your list of conditions. How would this diet help? What are the foods that could be adding to the symptoms?
Helene
Hello Helene Fibromyalgia is mentioned in the list of the conditions as it belongs also to the autoimmune disorders. It is to find out, if there is underlaying Celiac Disease in your case. This can be determined with a blood test and if positive with a biopsy of the small intestines. You cannot be on a gluten free diet when the test is taken or it will guaranteed be negative. You need a referral to see a gasterontolgist.
